Dear Dr. Atanasoski,

Today I noticed the disappearance of  "Statement on student advocacy related to Palestine"  from your
Department website. The text, in particular, stated:

"In a U.S. national context in which speech supporting Palestine is currently being targeted and suppressed, 
we share a simple premise: that to speak out against state violence is not only within the rights of students, 
staff, and faculty, but it should be considered a responsibility of ..."

Is the removal of the statement an illustration of a free speech suppression? If so, then by whom?
Or, perhaps, the Department changed its mind and no longer supports students' right for free speech?

I would very much appreciate your response.
